Sherline CNC-Ready Mill Upgrade Kit (Metric)

Transform your existing Sherline vertical mill into a CNC-ready machine with these upgrade kits. The process involves drilling and tapping holes to attach stepper motor mounts, using included drill blocks as guides. For the mill column, a new leadscrew is required. Complete instructions are provided. Note that new Sherline machines can be ordered with pre-installed stepper motor mounts. 'CNC-ready' means the machine is prepared to bolt on stepper motors and apply CNC control using a user-supplied system. Aftermarket suppliers offer stepper motors, drivers, and CNC software. The complete mill upgrade kit includes 3 stepper motor mounts, CNC Z-axis screw, coupling preload nuts, 6 stepper motor preload bearings, 3 CNC couplings, templates, and screws. Axis-specific upgrade kits are also available.
