  • The Askar 80ED is designed with three imaging accessories: a 0.7x reducer, a 0.85x reducer, and a 1.0x flattener. Users can choose the appropriate accessory based on their needs when capturing objects with the 80ED.
  • The 0.7x reducer reduces the Askar 80ED to f/4.9 while also providing field-flattening correction. It features a triplet design with one ED glass, optimized for the APS-C frame. The total weight is 0.32 kg.
  • The back focus is a standard 55mm from the M48 threaded surface. The rear-end adapter has a built-in M48×0.75 2-inch filter thread, allowing direct filter attachment. It integrates a 360° camera rotator for convenient framing during imaging.
  • The entire unit is CNC-machined and comes with threaded metal caps on both ends to prevent dust when not in use. At present, few telescopes of the same type on the market are equipped with a reducer of this reduction factor.
  • The shorter focal ratio delivers an even wider field of view and faster exposure speeds, making it perfect for imaging large nebulae, star clusters, and dim, fast-moving celestial objects.
